By Emily Juniper
Inspired by Euripides

"A mighty, ferocious Medea... inventive... sensitively directed." THE STAGE

★ ★ ★ ★

Wiltons Music Hall and Stephen Joseph Theatre, November 2021

Emily Juniper's award-nominated adaptation, commissioned by The Faction returned to the stage having first been staged in 2016
at New Diorama Theatre, and a film adaption in 2021 produced by The Lowry, The Faction and New Diorama Theatre.

In this imaginative adaptation, the dialogue is between Medea and her wedding dress that has just saved Medea from drowning before
the play starts 'as she rejects an identity that was foisted on her under false pretences.'
